Brief

An unassuming mid-terraced property from the outside, but stepping into the new extension gives a completely different feeling. This property has undergone both a side and rear extension to alter the internal space and provide both light and additional footprint to the existing property.

The rear walls were first removed to gain another open plan element in addition to the new side extension. All 3 sides of the new structure provide light with positioned vellum glazing units complimented by the pitched roof windows.

The added space allowed the client to have the kitchen they wanted without drowning the space left available.

The Bi-folding and single wooden door, all supplied and fitted by us, maintain the connection to the natural light and the garden (which was later landscaped by us).

The external walls were finished with second-hand yellow London stock brick, which matches the existing brickwork. We completed the decoration, tiles and created a new toilet and utility cupboard. After a few years we were invited to complete the clients loft conversion and a full house refurbishment including rewiring, plumbing front garden and reroof. These projects that allow us to build a relationship and support of our clients and their homes in the years that follow an initial build.
