This project was a double window dormer loft conversion with external lead finish. This type of design creates larger living space, but as always in dependent on the space of the property.

This house is wider than normal for this type of property, so the proportions of the bedroom and bathroom are also larger. It also has a longer stairway leading to the lower floors. As this project was in a conservation area we installed specific Velux windows and lead finish to the outside of the structure.

The remaining windows were Victorian style wooden sash windows to match the rest of the home. We also installed Victorian pine flooring to maintain the aesthetic.

Finally, to improve the lighting to the lower levels of the home we installed a glass panel into the floor, which also provides an extraordinary feature to the property.
